This policy explains what information DeClassified Now collects when you visit declassifiednow.com, how we use it, and your choices. DeClassified Now is published in Alberta, Canada.
Information we collect

Like most websites, our server automatically records basic technical information about each visit: your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, the referring page, and the date and time. We use these logs to keep the site running, diagnose problems, and protect it against abuse such as automated attacks. Logs are usually for 90 days and then deleted.
When you contact us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to respond to you and to act on your request, such as reviewing a correction. We do not add you to any mailing list.
Accounts and comments.
- Commenting is limited to registered users. If you have an account, we store your username, email address, and any comments you post. Comments are public.
Security. To protect the site, our security tools may record the IP address of failed login attempts and temporarily block addresses involved in repeated attempts.

DeClassified Now does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our site does set functional cookies only when you log in or leave a comment, to keep you signed in and remember your details. Ordinary readers browsing the site do not receive these cookies.

Articles link to external websites, such as government archives, research institutions, and court records. Some pages may include embedded content, such as videos. When you follow a link or view embedded content, the other website may collect information about you under its own privacy policy. We do not control those sites.

The site is hosted on servers in Canada – East – Beauharnois.
